Age of Heroes
A solemn hunter, the rough looking Landar Stormwind eyes burn with vengance
Originally hailing from the Mercenary Kingdom, the solemn Landar Stormwind is the sole survivor of a frontier settlement.
Landar, the eldest son, His younger brother and sister, and his parents moved to a new frontier settlement on the northern border of the Mercenary Kingdom, with the prospects of a new beginning. The new and unexplored areas drew Landar’s curiosity and he began following the local trappers and gatherers.
It was during one of these excursions that Landar stumbled upon a wild sow with piglets. The enraged sow charged at Landar, frozen in fear, thinking his life forfit. Luckily a retired scout, Stedd Evenwood, who was hunting the boar, shot it dead before it mauled Landar.
The awestuck teenager began copying the aged ranger and a friendship blossomed between Landar and Stedd, with the elder scout teaching him the ways of a ranger.
One fateful evening, while the fledgling ranger was far out hunting a deer for his family, he happened apon a small band of goblins. Roving bands of Orcs and Goblins were not unknown to intrude around the frontier regions, but there were too many for him to take on by himself. So he took it upon himself to lead the goblins futher away from the settlement and lose them in the forests.
Unbeknown to Landar, this band of goblins was part of a larger force of Orcs and goblins intent on raiding the frontier lands. As he led the goblins a merry chase, the rest of the Horde attacked and sacked his settlement, leaving no survivors.
Landar’s exuberance at what he thought of saving his settlement from goblins turned to dispare when he made his way back and found his home burned and family killed.
He vowed to hunt the Orcs responsible for the destruction of his family and any other Orc and Goblin on Genoshia.
Salvaging what supplies and equipment he could find, he set out with vengeance in his heart.
